I have photographed the Schimenti family many times over the years, it’s fun photographing a family every year and seeing the kids grow up! I’m not just saying this because I’m a photographer (well I am a bit and probably also partly saying this as a mother) but make a point to do family photos every single year. It’s so valuable and worth the effort that might seem like a lot at the time. We had a good time doing a pretty quick session at Glen Park before the sun set on a chilly November day. Sometimes you only have so much time, between fading light, freezing people, and energized kids. Glen Park is a great location for a shorter session as there are so many different looking spots to shoot and they are all so close to each other.

Angela and Jim’s Backyard Wedding
Angela and Jim’s pandemic wedding wasn’t what they originally had in mind but throughout their intimate church ceremony and backyard, garage, and driveway reception the focus was on what truly mattered. 2020 was a tough year for weddings without a doubt. Angela and Jim had to cancel their originally planned reception and give up their dream location. Despite everything and a ton of rain, Angela and Jim got married and made it special. I was honored to be a part of their day.
Ryan’s Senior Portrait Session
For Ryan’s senior portraits we went between Amherst State Park and Glen Park for a variety of locations. It was fun capturing some serious shots as well as some smiling ones and of course some classic yearbook ones. Williamsville South High School 2021!
Denise and Chris’s Engagement Session
It was a cold one but we made things feel cozy and happy at Glen Park for Denise and Chris’s Engagement Session. We did their session as fast as possible because they could only stand to be outside in not so outside outfits for so long. Joking and having fun the whole time we moved from spot to spot throughout the park to get a variety of shots. We were going to be done but Denise agreed to throw on her coat and do a few close up portraits right at the end which really turned out to me some very sweet images of them.
Ashley Schimenti’s Branding Portrait Session
Buffalo based counselor Ashley Schimenti has been growing her business and wanted portraits for her new website. We did a Branding Portrait Session that reflected her professionalism and calming personality. Her goals are to have her clients be, “heard, respected, and treated with compassion,” and to help her clients, “take that first step towards having the life they want.” We wanted her portraits to reflect that. We did some portraits at her office and some at the nearby Glen Park in Williamsville a suburb of Buffalo, New York. We had a fun and relaxing shoot and some great results!
